About Me

Hello, my name is Jaimie Schnell and I am in my second year; enrolled in the Elementary Education Program at the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina. I am pleased to have the opportunity to further my education and pursue my dream of becoming a future educator. I cannot wait to help teach and watch children grow.

I mostly grew up in Ituna, Saskatchewan, with my mother, father, older sister, and twin sister, along with three adorable pets. I moved from Melville to Ituna in grade four and graduated in Ituna (with only ten students in my class). I took part in some extracurricular activities such as: curling, badminton, track-and-field, and cross-country. I did not mind living in a small town, but I enjoy living in Regina now, where there are more things to do and see.

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, reading, and spending time at Fishing Lake, SK.

I have always known from a young age that I wanted to be a teacher. Having tons of people within my family, and also having amazing teachers throughout my school career; encouraging me to pursue my dreams, motivating me to achieve my dreams, and become a teacher.

One day I hope to be an inspirational teacher to my students, so that they will remember me and use the knowledge that I pass down to them so that they can one day also achieve their goals and dreams. I cannot wait to begin my journey in the classroom and share all of my experiences with you!
